Non-destructive testing is a group of testing methods using physical or chemical techniques, with the help of modern technology and equipment, to detect changes in heat, sound, light, electricity, or magnetism caused by material defects. This is done to determine the structure, status, and type, quantity, shape, nature, position, size, and distribution of surface and internal defects.
